HOW LONG DOES EACH THERAPY SESSION TAKE?

Sessions are 50 minutes long. I believe it's important to respect each client's time. I have found this is a perfect length of time for my client and I to delve into each session topic while making sure to leave time to schedule, wrap up, and allow me to transition and be on time for my next client.

DO YOU OFFER SLIDING SCALE RATES?

Not at this time. I do accept a wide range of insurances. Please see "Services."

WHAT TREATMENTS DO YOU PROVIDE?

I specialize in behavioral medicine/health psychology within my profession as a clinical psychologist. With this background, I provide the following evidence-based therapies (treatments that have been shown to work):

+Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Including CBT for Insomnia (CBT-I) and CBT for pain (CBT-P)

+Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

+Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT)

The practice of mindfulness is found in each of these modalities, and I often integrate it when helpful for my clients.

Depending on your unique concerns and circumstances, treatment with me may be involve one of these therapies or I may integrate components from two or more of these therapy modalities to customize treatment for your needs.

See "About" for more details about me and my approach.

WHERE ARE SESSIONS HELD?

I conduct Telehealth, which means sessions are held completely virtually (videocall, or phone if videocall is not accessible for the client).

At this time, I am licensed to serve clients in RI. I will soon be licensed to provide services in MA as well.

Due to regulations with licensing, I can only hold the Telehealth session with clients when they are physically present in RI (and soon, MA).
